Finally, since it’s been so long since my last coffee shop post, a new one has arrived. Wheat Ridge is one of the first cities separate from Denver as you travel northwest from the city center, and it almost feels like it could just be an extension of Arvada or the surrounding outskirts of Denver. Nonetheless, it definitely has a few good coffee shops.

The Bardo Coffeehouse
Bardo is a coffee shop that looks old on the outside but rather new on the inside, and it has probably the craziest hours I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop. They’re open 6am – midnight, and they’re somewhat modeled after a late-night diner. Sometime I’m going to stop by late at night just to see what the crowd is like.

Mountain Milk Coffee
Mountain Milk is a rustic shop a few doors down and across the street from Stylus & Crate, and it’s a nice mountain/American Southwest-themed cafe. The staff is always super friendly, and if you’re looking for a flavored latte of some sort then this is the place to go.
Stylus & Crate
Stylus & Crate is a great spot to go if you’re looking for a nice place to get some work done. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they’re also very music-oriented with a small space at the back of the shop to browse and even purchase vintage records. The workers are super nice, the work-from-home crowd is super chill, and the vibes are always high.

It was a short and sweet post this week, I know, but as summer ramps up and I get a little bit more involved with the summer activities here, I’m sure I’ll have a larger influx of topics to write about on here. In the meantime, click on the TikTok and Instagram icons below to follow my social media pages, as I post more frequently and more diverse content on there.
Have a great week!
