A Patio Lover’s Guide to Patio Season in Denver – Lohi

One of my favorite parts of summer is being able to visit a nice restaurant and spend some time on the patio, enjoying the beautiful weather with friends. Plus, now that I’m living in Colorado, I can do so with much better views than I had in the Midwest.

So, here are some of the best patio spots I’ve found in LoHi so far.

Avanti F&B

If you’re looking for a nice rooftop patio with a great view of the city’s skyline, this is the place to go. It has a variety of food and drink options from a bunch of different vendors, and they also have movie nights on the patio throughout the summer which can be a great time.

However, I will say that Avanti is one of the busiest establishments in LoHi, especially on the weekends, so if you’re looking for a nice and quiet spot to chill then I’d recommend any of the other spots on this list. Just a heads up.

This was taken back in the winter, but the view is still great.

Fox and the Hen

If you’re looking for a good brunch spot with delicious food and a great patio, Fox and the Hen is the best place in the neighborhood. They put a bunch of umbrellas up so the temperature on the patio remains comfortable, and the service is always great regardless of how long you decide to stay and hang out.

Prost

Prost is a German restaurant across the street from Avanti, and it’s the perfect place to bring a group of friends. They have a large tent-covered patio, tasty food and plenty of beer to wash it down with. I highly recommend ordering the Reuben, it’s incredible.

Tony P’s

Tony P’s is probably the most aesthetically pleasing spots out of all of these. It’s a lovely Italian restaurant on the corner of 30th and Zuni, and on the weekends its patio is always buzzing with a lively crowd. All of the food and drinks are great, and sitting on the patio in some amazing summer weather makes for a fantastic dining experience.
