I’ve visited some pretty sick coffee shops lately, so I figured I’d compile a list of the most aesthetically-pleasing coffee spots I’ve found in Denver so far. Personally, I’m more of a fan of rustic and eclectic coffee shops, but I can always appreciate a shop that picks one type of style and goes all the way with it.
The Carriage House
I recently visited the Carriage House in Cheesman Park for the first time, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It almost feels like it could be a cafe in a small English town with its calm cobblestone patio overlooking the spacious park. It’s an amazing spot to spend a quiet afternoon, and I highly recommend you take advantage of their patio before it gets too cold.

Flora
Flora is a very pretty coffee shop right around the Golden Triangle, and it has an interesting blend of antique and almost spiritual decor styles. There’s lots of flowers and plants, hence the name of the place, and it’s a great spot to get work done, chill, or meet with a friend. They open the garage door windows when it’s nice outside, allowing for a nice breeze and fresh air, and it also gives you a surprisingly good view of the surrounding area in my opinion.

Steam
I think I’ve said it on here before but Steam is probably my favorite coffeehouse in Denver that I’ve found so far. It has two different locations, each with a completely different vibe; one is built out of an old firehouse, and the other has a nice rustic patio/garden theme. Personally, I love the firehouse location in LoHi, but I also love the communal vibe of their Pearl Street location. Regardless of which one you choose, you can always expect excellent coffee paired with an amazing coffee shop.

Velvet Lasso
Velvet Lasso is a relatively new coffee shop in LoHi, and it’s a pretty cool lounge-style shop with plenty to look at. I’m having a tough time putting the style of the place into words, but you’ll know exactly the type of vibe it’s going for just by looking at their website. It’s definitely more of a girly coffee shop, but I can respect the style.
The pictures I’ve taken of this place do not do it justice whatsoever, so you’re just going to have to trust me on this one. Click on the name of the shop above and you’ll get an idea of the vibe they’re going for.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope this post helped you pick your next stop for coffee, and be sure to let me know in the comments which one you choose! While you’re at it, drop a like and subscribe for a new post every Wednesday at 12pm MST!
Have a great week!
