Best Date Night Spots in LoHi, Denver

If you’re looking for a nice restaurant for a romantic date night, LoHi is one of the best neighborhoods in Denver to go. It somehow has the quiet (and almost small town) neighborhood feel despite being just blocks from downtown Denver, making it the perfect place to bring a date.

As always, if you click on the restaurant header, I’ve linked the restaurants’ websites for you to check out.

Cart-Driver

Especially for happy hour, Cart Driver is a great spot. It’s in a very cozy and carefully restored old building on 30th Ave, and it’s a nice place to sit and chat with your dinner date. The service is great, the food is tasty, and the happy hour prices are almost unbelievable. We got a pizza, a sandwich, a glass of wine and a cocktail for $60 and that’s including tip. It almost felt like we were back in the Midwest.

Kumoya

We tried Kumoya last week, and I suppose you could say it blew us out of the water. The sushi was incredible, the drinks were very tasty and unique (and named after Demon Slayer characters), and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night.

For food we had the Shake Uramaki and the Winter Tatemaki rolls, and for drinks we had the Tanjiro and the Wildflower. I highly recommend all of them.

Linger

Linger is a pretty popular restaurant in LoHi, and for good reason. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of the kind of the alternative Asian food (if that’s what you call it) that populates Linger’s menu, but I still really enjoyed the ramen bowl and the drink I ordered.

From what I hear, they also open up their rooftop patio in the summertime, so we will definitely be returning to check that out.

Postino

Postino is a great spot that’s somehow tucked away on a relatively quiet street in LoHi, despite being in one of the busiest areas in the neighborhood. Their boards are delicious, with plenty of different tasty options to choose from, and of course their wine makes everything better.

I highly highly highly recommend you take advantage of their Board + Bottle nights on Mondays and Tuesdays after 8pm, you can get a board and a bottle of wine for just $25!

Thank you for reading! I hope this post has helped you find your next date night spot in Denver and be sure to only text/call your date back if they’re a boardingpassblog.com reader, as that is a key telltale sign of a good person at heart.

Hit that like and follow button for a new post every Wednesday at 12pm MST, and comment below if you have any more Denver restaurant recommendations for me to try!

Have a great week!
