Dublin Coffee Recommendations

Looking for a nice afternoon pick-me-up before you hit the next pub? No problem! Here’s a list of my favorite coffee shops I found on the few short days I spent in Dublin.

The Bagel Bar Coffee House

This was my favorite breakfast spot that I found in Dublin. It’s a small cafe just a few blocks from the city center, and their bagels are incredible. It’s a great spot to grab a bite to eat and a nice coffee before you start your day, and the vibes inside are always high. I recommend getting there early though, because this is a pretty well-known spot and the line can get pretty long.

Bear Mrkt Coffee Co.

Bear Mrkt coffee has a few different locations around Dublin, but the shop I visited was the one on Georges Street. It’s a nice shop, with a modern interior and friendly staff, but the only drawback is that the cafe has no Wi-Fi. So, if you’re just looking for somewhere to sit down and read and write and disconnect for a bit, this is the spot for you.

Copper + Straw

Copper + Straw is a really nice rustic coffee shop that serves a delicious cup of coffee as well as offers a great spot to hang out while you let your legs rest after all the walking. I went to the Aston Quay location, and it was a nice shop with a great view of the river as well as it was a stone’s throw from the Temple Bar area.

Thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments if you have any other coffee recommendations in the Dublin area, and follow the blog for a new post every Wednesday!

Have a great week!
