Best Brunch Spots in Buenos Aires

While Buenos Aires is a massive city with hundreds if not thousands of places with great food, here are just a few of my favorite places I ate during my time in this beautiful city. Regardless of which of these places you choose to try out, getting a medialuna with crema pastelera is an absolute must. Trust me on this one.

I apologize for the quality of some of these photos… I’ll try to be more aesthetic next time!

CafÉ Crespin

This is a delicious corner cafe spot and very reasonably priced. It’s in a great area of Buenos Aires, Villa Crespo, and it’s also a great spot to people watch. It’s nice patio area makes it the ideal place to spend a brunch outing, and its location in the quiet spot of the neighborhood gives it a relaxed and tranquil vibe.

Cruasán

Cruasán has some of the best, if not the best, pastries I’ve ever had. It’s a tiny little window cafe in a very nice part of the city, and it’s not to be missed. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but the croissants are especially delicious.

Being the chocoholic that I am, I recommend any of their chocolate croissants, but you truly can’t go wrong with any of their pastries. The pistachio croissant is another great choice.

Cuervo CafÉ

Cuervo is an amazing corner cafe with a super nice patio and absolutely delicious coffee. It’s also in a beautiful part of Palermo, surrounded by nice and short buildings so you don’t feel so boxed in. The area is also very nice to walk around, so I recommend taking a walk down the street and taking a look at all the beautiful homes and buildings. I recommend their ham & cheese croissants with an iced coffee.

Turns out they have multiple locations, but the one I went to was their Costa Rica location (the street, not the country).

Le BlÉ

Another adorable corner cafe, Le Ble is a tasty spot in Belgrano with tons of great stuff on the menu. I got an incredible plate with chorizo and bacon on toast, and their scrambled eggs are a big highlight. Their iced coffee and juices are also very good.

I’m pretty sure they have multiple different locations, but the one I can personally recommend is the Belgrano spot.

Maiz

This is a nice and quiet spot in Tigre, so it’s a little bit north of the city, but it’s in a great area and it has fantastic food. Their outdoor patio is a great spot to spend a comfortable morning chatting with friends and enjoying a tasty meal, and their focaccia toast is especially delicious.

(I wasn’t able to find a website for this restaurant, so if you know of a better site than their TripAdvisor page then let me know in the comments.)

What a spread.

And just like that… my stomach is rumbling. I hope you have as fantastic of a meal at these places as I did, and enjoy Buenos Aires!
